New Delhi: One of the leading IIMs in India, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Trichy has received its first MBA accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the world’s leading authority on postgraduate management education.
Receiving accreditation from the AMBA represents the highest standards of achievement in postgraduate business education. With this, the students who are currently pursuing the MBA program from IIM Trichy are invited to join the AMBA's global member community.
As per ABMA, the community consists of more than 60,000 students and alumni from more than 150 countries. Students can join the global community on a free basis and learn networking, thought leadership, career development and a variety of other benefits.
While congratulating IIM Trichy on this achievement, Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association said, “AMBA is delighted to offer the accreditation and add IIM-T to our network of top 2% of business schools globally".
The Association of MBAs (AMBA)'s rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest caliber programs are offered to students. The MBA accreditation from AMBAs assures that the program meets the best standards in teaching, curriculum and student interaction.
Earlier, the institute inaugurated its Certificate Program in Business Management for Defense Officers. The course will be offered to defense officers for a duration of six months on the campus ground. It aims to offer business management skills to interested participants.
Informing about the IIM Trichy Course 2022, the officials stated that the inaugural event was held in the presence of Lt Gen A Arun, YSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, South. This program will admit 50 officers from the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air force.
