New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kashipur has inaugurated the Executive MBA (EMBA) programme in Analytics for academic session 2022-24 at its Kashipur campus.
The EMBA programme at IIM Kashipur has been started with a total strength of 95 students having an average work experience of 9 years across ITES, IT, Infrastructure, Aviation and other prominent industries. Overall, 20% of the candidates are women having average work experience of 101 months.
The selection of participants for admission to the EMBA programme in Analytics was based on the Executive MBA admission test & Personal Interview round.
Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni, Director, IIM Kashipur, Chief Guest of the launch program, Mr. Manoj Nair, MD, Accenture India, and Mr. Anish Srikrishna, CEO, Times Professional Learning (marketing partner of the program) flagged off the Executive MBA program in Analytics during the on-campus event at IIM-K.
Speaking at the launch event, Professor Kulbhushan Balooni, Director, IIM Kashipur said, “I am extremely proud to mention that IIM Kashipur is the first institute to foray into a 2-year MBA Analytics program. Building on this foundation and the massive numbers of applications received for this programme, we have launched the Executive MBA Analytics program to benefit the mid-career executives as well. This program will create a sound understanding for learners by using data & technology to further their management & career goals.”
IIM Kashipur has launched this EMBA (Analytics) programme with the aim to prepare business leaders who can use the analytical power to improve organisational processes. The program includes comprehensive learning spread across 6 terms over 24 months and will be offered in blended mode conspiring both online and on-campus modules.
For the online modules, the primary method of instruction will be through LIVE lectures that will be delivered online via the internet to participants’ desktops/laptops or classrooms. The lectures will be delivered by eminent faculty from IIM Kashipur and expert(s) from the industry.
All faculty members will be given the option to hold virtual offices for one hour every Wednesday between 5:45 PM to 8:30 PM (except during campus visits of participants). These virtual office hours will provide participants with the opportunity to meet the faculty & work as a platform to make connections & discuss their issues.
IIM Kashipur EMBA (Analytics) Alumni Status: Evaluation
The evaluation of academic performance of participants will be based on different components such as; Class Participation, Term-end Examination, Assignments, Industry workshops, Project work, Quizzes and any other component decided by the course instructor.
CERTIFICATION
To complete the Executive MBA programme, participants should obtain at least 34.5 credits across the six terms. On successful completion of the two-year programme, participants will be awarded with EMBA (Analytics) and successful participants will be accorded with IIM Kashipur Alumni status.
