Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has officially introduced an executive MBA programme in blended mode for working professionals, who have a minimum of three years of industry experience.
IIM Jammu has designed the executive MBA (e-MBA), a two-year programme in blended mode for mid to senior-level professionals working in corporates, government organizations, armed or military forces, NGOs, and entrepreneurs.
The main objective of the eMBA programme is to enhance the working executive's skills and capabilities necessary at such responsible positions.
It was notified in a statement from IIM Jammu officials that the eMBA programme will provide an opportunity to such experienced working professionals with minimal disruption to their work routine and personal pursuits.
The minimum eligibility requirement for the eMBA programme at IIM Jammu is that a candidate must have a minimum of three years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks for general, 47% for NC-OBC, and 45% for SC, ST, or DAP awarded by recognized university or an educational institution.
Candidates willing to take admissions for the eMBA programme should have either a valid score in CAT or GMAT or GRE. The working experience of 3 years would be counted from the last date of the admission application. Otherwise, the candidates will have to take up the IIM JAT exam. It was also notified that the last date to apply for the eMBA programme is till August 31, 2021.
