IIM Jammu director BS Sahay stated the following regarding the management development programme: "The programme attempts to enhance the management, leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities of Chartered Accountants. The program's courses are designed to provide a thorough understanding of the most recent and pertinent management strategies and approaches that support the development of managerial and leadership skills in these young professionals.

Raj Chawla, vice-chairman of the ICAI, spoke at the event and said: "In a rapidly changing world, chartered accountants are increasingly taking on managerial responsibilities, which demand enhanced understanding of other business functions, including leadership and effective interpersonal and communication skills, skills in domains of marketing, strategy, change, and crisis management, and ability to analyse business eco-system. The MDP will help to address and enhance the existing sluggishness in these areas. By gaining cross-functional insights, I am convinced that the participants would not only excel in their managing jobs.
