IIM Indore Signs MoU with AIIMS Bhopal to offer Executive Programs in Health & Hospital Management

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal (AIIMS Bhopal) have partnered up to foster collaboration among academic members, students, and research groups.

On December 23, 2022, the MoU was executed by Professor Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore & Professor (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal. The duration of the MoU will just be of five years.

Professor Rai stated that IIM Indore has taken measures to promote the development and empowerment of society and collaborated on programmes that offer the possibility of contributing to education, research, and other fields that aid in nation-building.

AIIMS Bhopal seeks to accumulate talent, supply the country with well-qualified medical personnel, and perform research on national and regional health issues. IIM Indore's objective is to cultivate leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs with a social conscience.

Together, we want to do research in the relevant fields and offer executive programmes, encompassing but not limited to health and hospital management, in light of our shared objectives, he explained.

In addition, the alliance aims to offer initiatives for incubation and ideation centres, start-ups, and centres of excellence to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

We look forward to enabling the sharing of experiences and perspectives for mutual benefit and undertaking joint social projects with faculty members from IIM Indore and healthcare experts from AIIMS, he continued.

Professor (Dr.) Singh was pleased with the signing of the MOU. He stated that IIM Indore is one of the most prestigious business institutions in India and the second IIM to receive the Triple Crown certification. Thus, everyone would benefit from a contextually relevant course prepared by its professors.

"We anticipate teacher and student interaction with IIM Indore as well as participation in joint consultancy and research projects," he stated.

He also added that we are looking forward to IIM Indore's outstanding Faculty Development Programs as well as obtaining essential suggestions from their consulting in effectively managing our systems and improving the core.
