IIIT Vadodara PhD Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is July 24

New Delhi: IIIT Vadodara is inviting applications for its PhD programmes for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official portal, iiitvadodara.ac.in. The last date to apply is July 24, 2022.

IIIT Vadodara is inviting applications for PhD programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Physics, and English. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year exams of the qualifying degree in 2022 may also apply to the respective programs. 

The IIIT Vadodara admission is subject to the condition that, if admitted, they should submit a provisional degree certificate or any other proof of completion of requirements for the award of the degree by September 30, 2022.

The selected candidates who have completed all the examinations before the date of registration but are unable to produce the certificate as proof of having passed and secured the minimum specified qualifying marks may be considered for provisional admission to the course of IIIT Vadodara.

However, if admitted provisionally, they will be required to produce the evidence of their having passed the qualifying degree examination with minimum specified marks before commencing the classes, failing which the admission shall be cancelled.

IIIT Vadodara PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the PhD course at IIIT Vadodara candidates must have consistently good academic records. Other than that the other eligibility criteria include: 

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering

• First class in M.Tech./ME in CSE/IT/ECE or related areas, OR
• First class in M.Sc. Applied Mathematics/Computer Science and related areas, OR
• Exceptional candidates with more than 8.00 CPI on a scale of 10 in B.E/B. Tech in relevant areas may also be considered. 

Eligibility Criteria for Physics 

• First class in M.Sc. (Physics) and related areas

Eligibility Criteria for English 

• First class in M. A. in related areas

IIIT Vadodara PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process 

Candidates can submit the GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET/UGC-JRF certificate if any while submission of past academic records. But candidates are selected mainly: 

• On the basis of their performance in the written examination. 
• On the basis of their performance in the Personal Interview round. 
• The final selection is made on the basis of performance in written examination and personal interview rounds.

• Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIIT Vadodara at iiitvadodara.ac.in.
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee if required and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
