IGNOU Online PG Courses in Environmental & Occupational Health Launched, Registration Started for Jan 2022 Session; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IGNOU has recently launched online postgraduate programs in Environmental and Occupational Health. The MA and Diploma program will be offered under the School of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Studies of IGNOU.

With these PG Programs in Environment and Occupational Health, IGNOU aims to reduce and prevent the effects caused by environmental and occupational exposures on human health. The program will teach students about chemical as well as biological contaminants. Interested candidates can apply now for the January 2022 Session at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. 

These IGNOU Courses MA, and Diploma programs in Environmental and Occupational Health were launched in the presence of Governor of Jharkhand- Ramesh Bais and Dr. A Suresh, Minister for Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

During the launch event, IGNOU VC Professor Nageshwar Rao stated that the university will offer an online program in line with National Education Policy 2020. The program will help in creating awareness among students regarding global environmental health. 

While talking about the accomplishments of IGNOU, Professor Nageshwar Rao said, "IGNOU serves the educational aspirations of over 3.6 million students in India and other countries through 21 Schools of Studies”.

He further informed that as of now, the university has over 67 Regional Centres around the country. The regional center is distributed around 2,000 Learner Support Centres and 20 overseas institutions.

Interested students who wish to apply for online MA and Diploma Program in Environmental and Occupational Health under IGNOU Admission 2022 session can now submit their applications for the same on the official website of IGNOU at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

As per the official website, "The Programme aims at various concepts related to the general environment, the environment at the workplace, related hazards and evaluation of health risk assessment by providing solutions to various aspects of environmental health occupational hazard management".

The PG Diploma EOHOL is now open for all eligible candidates to apply on the official admission portal of IGNOU at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The course will be offered in online mode through Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode. 

The online course will commence under the guidance of Professor B Rupini, Dr. Sushmitha Baskar, and Professor Ruchika Kuba of the School of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Studies and School of Health Sciences, IGNOU.
