ICMR-NIE MPH Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is December 31

New Delhi: The ICMR – National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) has begun the application process for the Master of Public Health (Epidemiology and Health Systems) programme for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://nie.gov.in/. 

The ICMR–NIE offers India FETP - Master of Public Health (Epidemiology and Health Systems) – 2 year programme of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, conducted by ICMR School of Public Health at ICMR - NIE. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till December 31, 2022. 

Admission to the MPH programme will be done based on the written score and performance in the interview round.

ICMR-NIE MPH Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will have to fulfil the following criteria in order to be eligible to apply for the MPH course: 

• Candidates must hold a M.B.B.S. degree recognized by Medical Council of India 
• They should be working in public health, preferably regularized and permanent employees of State or Central Government Department or Medical institutions; 
• Candidates working in Private (NonGovernment) candidates worked / working in public health are also eligible. 
• Candidates must have three years experience in public health related activities 
• Candidates must be of age up to 45 years as on the date mentioned in the admission form. 
• Departmental candidates from ICMR institutions will be granted age relaxation of 5 years. SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India rules. 

ICMR-NIE MPH Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidates selected for the course should be available for the entire duration of the course, i.e., two years on a full time basis.
• Candidates selected for the MPH course should not do private practice or engage in any other employment, etc., during the Contact Sessions and Field Postings
•  If a candidate is found to be engaged in a work other than the MPH course work, his/her admission to the course will be cancelled. 
• Reservation of seats will be as per Government of India norms being followed by SCTIMST. 
• The decision of the Director, SCTIMST, shall be final for selection of the candidates to the MPH programme. 

ICMR-NIE MPH Admission 2023: How to Apply? 

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of ICMR @https://nie.gov.in/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
