IIT JAM full form is the Joint Admission Test which is a national level admission test conducted by any of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This is done on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) for individuals to get admission to any of the IITs across India. Those wishing to appear in IIT JAM will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

• Nationality: Citizens from Indian states and foreign nationals are eligible.
• Age Limit: There is no age restriction. 
• Educational Qualifications: Must have a degree in Bachelor’s in Science in any one of the following subjects – Geology, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Physics, Chemistry. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
• Minimum Marks: At least 55% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 CGPA for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
