New Delhi: According to the latest notification released by NTA, the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) Exam date has been postponed. The entrance test will now be held on May 13, 2023 instead of April 23, 2023.
Following the notice, the GAT-B/ BET has been rescheduled for May 13, 2023 in consultation with the Regional Centre for Biotechnology. Interested candidates can check the complete notification on the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in.
Additionally, the dates for receiving city intimation slips and admit cards which include the candidate's roll number and the exam center details will be announced soon on NTA’s website. The admit card is expected to be released at least a week before the exam date.
As per the GAT-B/BET 2023 Exam Schedule, the GAT-B exam will start at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm on May 13, 2023. While the BET paper will begin at 3 PM and conclude at 6 PM. Check the official notice and revised schedule for GAT B/BET in this article below!

GAT B/ BET 2023 Exam Pattern
GAT-B 2023 exam will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) for a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes) for all registered candidates. The questions will be in MCQ format and candidates will be awarded +1 or +3 marks awarded for each correct answer.
National Testing Agency conducts the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT-B) & Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) to shortlist candidates for admission to DBT-supported Postgraduate programs in Biotechnology and allied areas in the participating institutions.
