Lovely Professional University has the gigantic tech savvy campus in Jalandhar, Punjab. It was established in 2005. It is recognized by University Grant Commission and offers 200+ undergraduate and post-graduate programme.

- Post graduate diploma in computer applications (PGDCA)
Duration of MCA is three years and for rest of the courses it is two years. PGDCA is of one year.
LPU MCA/MCA (hons.) Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criteria as per course need to be fulfilled by candidates:-
MCA
- They should have done BCA/B.Sc. IT or any graduation with computer science as subject and secured minimum 60% aggregate marks
- Else, Minimum 60% marks in graduation with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Maths/ Business Statistics as one of the subject at Graduation or 12th class
- Or, Minimum 50% aggregate marks in BCA/B.Sc. IT or any graduation with computer science as subject provided students have a valid score in LPUNEST 2015
- Else, Minimum 50% marks in graduation with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Maths/ Business Statistics as one of the subject at Graduation or 12th class provided they have a valid score in LPUNEST 2015
MCA (Lateral Entry)
- Candidates who have passed BCA/ B.Sc. IT/ B.Sc. Computer Science with mathematics as a subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.
- Those who have secured 50% or above aggregate marks in above mentioned courses with a valid score in LPUNEST 2015.
MCA (hons.)
- They should have done BCA/B.Sc. IT or any graduation with computer science as subject for three years and secured minimum 60% aggregate marks
- Else, Minimum 60% marks in graduation with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Maths/ Business Statistics as one of the subject at Graduation or 12th class
MCA (hons.) (Lateral Entry)
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in BCA/ B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. IT with mathematics as a subject
PGDCA
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in bachelor degree in any course
LPU MCA/MCA (hons.) Admission Process
LPUNEST 2015 will be conducted in three phases. Last date to apply for phase 1 is May 30, 2015. For MCA/MCA (lateral entry) candidates need to appear for LPUNEST 2015. Registration fee is INR 300.
In order to apply for post graduate computer applications programme, candidates can apply online at the website- www.lpu.in and fill the form. It can also be obtained from university office.
Mode of remittance
- Fee can be paid by credit card/debit card while filling the form online
- It can also be done by demand draft issued in favor of "Lovely Faculty of Technology and Sciences” payable at Jalandhar.
- One can also deposit cash at Division of Admissions at University campus in Phagwara (Punjab).
Scholarship and Financial Aid
It will be given on basis of:-
- Percentage in qualifying exam
- Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular and Social Service Bravery Awards
- LPU-TFA
Students have taken admission or provisionally registered for admission at LPU and have not availed any scholarship scheme can apply for LPUTFA-2015. They can apply for it online on the website. Filled form can be submitted:-
- Admission Office at the University Campus or at the designated camp offices of the University.
- It can also be send by post/courier at University Campus.
