SGGSWU Ph.D. Admissions 2015:
Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU), Fatehgarh Sahib invites the application for admission to Ph.D. Course. Admission will be based on Ph.D. entrance exam test for academic session 2015-16.

Eligibility Criteria for SGGSWU Ph.D. Admission 2015:
- Candidate must have passed master degree or an equivalent degree from a Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib or recognized Indian or Foreign University in the subject concerned or allied-subject.
- Master degree with minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 for general category students and 50%marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST candidates, differently abled persons who have at least 40% disability)

The eligibility of foreign students shall be determined on the basis of recognition of their degree's equivalence to
- Above by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi or
- Any other notified authority for the purpose by the Government of India

Visit University website www.sggswu.org and download the application form.
The completed application form along with the required application and Entrance Test fee and documents should be submitted in person or through registered post or speed post to the Admission Cell of the University
Selection Criteria for SGGSWU Ph.D. Admission 2015:
Weightage for different components for determining merit is as under:

Note:
- UGC-NET/ CSIR/ JRF Qualified candidates will be exempted from the test and the marks secured by them in the said examination will be considered
- In case any candidate who qualified UGC-NET/ CSIR/ JRF in the years when marks were not mentioned; the merit will be computed by doubling the remaining components
