New Delhi: Telangana universities are instructed by the State Education Minister to provide free coaching to the students to prepare them for government jobs. The report mentions several prestigious universities in the state to provide this training.
Telangana University is one of the universities that are to impart free training.
Besides this, there are Osmania University, Kakatiya University, MGU, Satavahana University is also there on the list to offer this training.
As per the official report, State Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy directed the Vice-Chancellors of the selected universities to start coaching programmes as the state government is expected to issue job vacancies for recruitment in multiple departments.
The Government is to issue grants to the universities to make the necessary arrangements.
Already, Osmania University has begun the preparation to launch a Civil Service Academy in which the varsity is to train students for several Government exams such as UPSC, CSE, SSC, RRB, TSPSC and so on.
“We have identified faculty to train students for recruitment examinations and also put the necessary infrastructure in place. The coaching programme will shortly commence after launch by the Education Minister,”, as an OU official has stated.

On the other hand, Kakatiya University, Warangal, is also preparing to launch a handful of coaching academies to provide free training to students focusing on the exams for Group I, II, III, IV jobs of the state Government and vacancies at the Postal Department.
“Depending on the number of applications, students will be trained in batches. Apart from university faculty, experts in the respective fields will also be roped into coach students”, as per the KU spokesperson has stated.

On February 23, 2022, the British Council and the Telangana Government signed an MoU to renew the partnership in education, English and arts so that young people can receive more employment opportunities.
