DU PhD Admission Deadline 2023 Extended till March 31

New Delhi: Delhi University admission to its phase 1 PhD Program are ongoing for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official website at http://www.du.ac.in/.

DU offers Ph.D. degrees in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme can submit their applications till March 31, 2023. Earlier, the last date for application was February 15, 2023 but now it has been extended.

DU PhD Admission 2023 will be done on the basis of the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) followed by a personal interview conducted by the respective department.

DU PhD Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission into the DU PhD Program will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned below. 

• Candidates must have obtained a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks. 
• Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), and Persons with Physical Disability (PwD) are provided 5% relaxation in the minimum required eligibility for admission to Ph.D. courses. 
• Before applying for admission to Ph.D., candidates must check whether there is a requirement of Research Proposal for admission to their specialization/ department.

• Candidates will be shortlisted for the Ph.D. course on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and Personal interview round. 

DU PhD Admission 2023: How to Apply? 

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of DU at http://www.du.ac.in/.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id, etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form.

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
