DU COL Admissions 2022 Open till September 30; CUET 2022 Score Not Required for Admissions

New Delhi: Delhi University's Campus of Open Learning (COL) has begun the admission process for the certificate programmes for the academic session 2022-23 and that the CUET score is not required in order to get admissions to the courses offered by DU COL. The last date to apply for the certificate programmes is September 30, 2022. 

According to a statement by DU COL, the CUET 2022 scores will not be considered to enrol in the professional and technical training programmes and short-term certificate courses that the university is currently offering. 

DU-COL Admissions 2022: Highlights 

After receiving numerous clarifications from candidates who were curious regarding the applicability of CUET for taking admission in short-term courses, the DU COL issued the clarification statement. 

Speaking about the same, Professor Uma Shankar Pandey, OSD, COL, DU, said that all the candidates who have passed class 12th, aside from those registered in various institutions or universities, are eligible for admission to the certificate programmes offered by COL. 

In addition, candidates who have recently passed out of the degree programmes are also applicable to apply, he said.

The following courses are on the list for which the DU COL Admission procedure is now in effect:

DU-COL Admissions 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates seeking admission into the certificate courses offered by DUCOL should satisfy the eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must have passed class 12th qualification. 
• Candidates already appeared in qualifying exams and awaiting results may also apply. 
• Candidates already pursuing a graduation degree or other courses in Delhi University or other institutions/universities can also apply. 
• Students from School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), regular colleges or departments of University of Delhi are also encouraged to apply for these courses offered by the University of Delhi. 

DU-COL Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of DU COL @col.du.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Upload all the documents, Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.

The COL-DU has invited applications for admissions to a total of 24 certificate programmes that are currently being offered by the varsity. 

Further, the university is working with industry training partners like Bird Academy, MT Forum, and RK Educational Group to deliver these certificate courses.

Candidates should know that the deadline to submit an application for DU COL Admissions 2022 is September 30, 2022, or earlier.
