New Delhi: Delhi University has advised the students to exercise caution while filling out the application forms as some sections in the forms do not allow editing or modification after the submission.

On September 27, DU launched its first public awareness webinar for undergraduate admissions 2022, where in the university representatives answered applicants' questions and provided an explanation of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)-2022.
The varsity began the second round of undergraduate programme admissions on September 26, allowing the applicants an opportunity to select their preferred programme and college combinations.
The Phases II and I of CSAS 2022, which began on September 12, will finally conclude on October 10. Further, the results of Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG 2022) will also be required in both phases.
Haneet Gandhi, Dean, Admission, stated that the students should take their time to fill up the application forms. They shouldn't rush through filling out the forms or wait until the very last minute. Also, some sections in the application forms do not allow the editing option.
Consequently, the DU officials advised the students to fill out their personal information, such as their name, parents' names, and their grades, with the utmost care as these details will be used in case of a tie-breaker.
Earlier, on September 12, the varsity opened its web portal for CUET admissions to its UG programmes for the academic year 2022–2023.
This year, admissions are being conducted for almost 79 UG programmes across 67 affiliated-colleges, which also includes a total of 206 different combinations for the BA programme as well.
The CSAS 2022 is being conducted in three phases. The first phase will be to apply to the DU, the second phase will be preference filling and the third phase will be seat allotment-cum-admission.
According to the DU officials, the candidates must prepare a list of their top choices for courses in advance because they won't have that option after October 10, 2022.
The officials revealed that the candidates can select from all possible combinations of programmes and colleges using the "available preferences" page on the portal. The "advanced filter" option, which is present at the top, can be used by the candidate to filter both the colleges and the programmes.
The university administrators have recommended the students to select the most choices possible and stated that adding or altering the colleges and programmes after the preference-filling phase's deadline will not be permitted.
Earlier, the university will discuss admissions under the extracurricular activity and sports supernumerary quota for the undergraduate curriculum framework (UGCFJ-2022).
The reservation regulations for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwBD applicants as well as admissions under the Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) will be covered in a webinar on September 28 and 29.
According to the DU officials, a webinar on admissions under the Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) will take place on September 30.
