DPU Pune Admission 2022 Open for Nursing; Last Date to Apply is July 15

New Delhi: Dr D.Y.Patil College of Nursing Pune has begun the application process for nursing courses for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website nursing.dpu.edu.in

DPU is accepting applications for nursing courses in B.Sc Nursing, P.B. B.Sc Nursing, and M.Sc Nursing. Candidates seeking admission to the courses can apply by July 15, 2022.

DPU Admission 2022: Dates 

The duration of the B.Sc Nursing course is 4 years. While the duration of the P.B. B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing is 2 years. Candidates need to sit for the All India Allied Health Entrance Test (AIAHET) for B.Sc and P.B B.Sc Nursing courses. For M.Sc Nursing candidates need to sit for the All India Post Graduate Nursing Entrance Test (AIPGNET).

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing 

• Candidates must have qualified 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with an aggregate of 45% marks minimum from a recognized board. 
• Candidates should be of 17 years of age and medically fit. 
• Candidates must hold a valid score in the entrance examination. 

Eligibility Criteria for P.B B.Sc Nursing

• Candidates must have passed General Nursing and Midwifery. 
• Candidates must hold a valid score in the entrance examination. 
• Candidates should be medically fit. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Nursing 

• The candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
• Candidates must have qualified B.Sc Nursing or PB B.Sc Nursing from an institution recognised by Indian Nursing Council. 
•  Candidates must have one year of experience after graduation and should be medically fit. 

DPU Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination.
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the counselling rounds.
• Final selection is based on the overall performance in the last qualifying examination and entrance examination score. 

DPU Admission 2022: How to Apply 

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of DPU, at nursing.dpu.edu.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of 300 INR and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
