Delhi University Introduces "Simulated Ranks" Feature on Candidate Dashboard for Admissions

New Delhi: Delhi University has introduced a new feature "Simulated Ranks" on the candidate dashboard for admission 2022. Candidates can use this feature to calculate their estimated ranks, which are based on their reported preferences (till October 13).

Delhi University Introduces

Candidates can check the DU simulated ranks on the official website of the university admission.uod.ac.in by using their login credentials such as CUET application number and password. The DU has added the simulated ranks or tentative ranks feature in the candidate's dashboard.

According to the official DU notification, the candidates will be able to evaluate the probability of allocations in a specific programme and college through this Simulated Ranks facility.

Subsequently, the candidates will have a two-day "Preference-Change window," from October 14 (5 p.m.) to October 16 till 11:59 p.m.

Candidates should confirm that their changes or modifications have been saved. They must access the CSAS portal and then sequence their preferences. When they have organised their choices, the users must save the changes before they can view the updated preferences.

The last saved preferences will be automatically locked and used to create the allocation lists on October 16 at 4:59 p.m.

The notification stated that “in no way should the simulated ranks be constructed as a warranty, express or implied, or creation of a legitimate expectation, for admission or final ranks and/or allocations of programme of study or college whatsoever.”

Candidates can accept their allotment until 5 p.m. on October 21 after Delhi University releases its initial merit list on October 18.

Following that, the document verification will be concluded on October 22, and the candidates will have to make the payment till October 24 at 5 p.m. The new academic session will begin on November 2.
