New Delhi: Delhi Government is inviting online applications for admission to entry level classes in private schools under EWS category for the academic session 2022-23. Parents and guardians can apply for Delhi EWS Admission 2022 at edustud.nic.in till June 24, 2022.

Under EWS Category, the admission seats are provided to students who belongs to SC, ST, OBC, non-creamy layer, orphans, transgender and children living with or affected by HIV. To apply for the admission, the annual family income must be less than 1 lakh.
Earlier, the last date to apply for Delhi EWS Admission 2022 was June 14, 2022. Which was later extended to June 24, 2022. Guardians can apply for the admission process by submitting the online applications on the official website of Delhi Government at edustud.nic.in.
Informing about the date extension, Yogesh Pal Singh, Deputy Director of Education said, “The last date for reporting by successful candidates of EWS and DG category in entry-level classes has once again been extended up to June 24".

Delhi EWS Admission 2022: How to Apply Online?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Education Department, Government of NCT of Delhi at edustud.nic.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the "EWS/DS Admission 2022" tab.
Step 3: Fill in the application form with care and enter the details as required.
Step 4: Choose the school of your choice and click on submit.
Step 5: In the last step, review your details and submit the form to complete your admission process.

Delhi Government offers admission to entry level classes in private schools under Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG) and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) categories. The admission process for the same started on March 29, 2022.
The admission seats are offered to applicants under Right to Education Act, 25, which states that 25% seats in entry level classes (nursery, KG or class 1) in private schools are reserved for students from EWS, DG and CWSN categories.
