New Delhi: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT 2023 application form today, August 08, 2022. Eligible candidates can visit the official website @consortiumofnlus.ac.in and register for the CLAT 2023 exam till November 13, 2022.
For the first time, the CLAT 2022 and CLAT 2023 exam will be held in the same year, on December 18, 2022, through the offline mode.
The consortium has decided to release three sample papers before the CLAT 2023 examination. Further, the candidates will also have the option of an open campus visit.

CLAT 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking to appear in the CLAT 2023 exam will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria.
- No age limit to apply or appear for CLAT 2023.
- NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are also eligible to appear for CLAT.
- The minimum marks in the qualifying exam required to apply for CLAT 2023 will be 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category candidates.
CLAT 2023: How to Fill an Application Form?
Candidates can go through the following steps to fill the application form of CLAT 2023.
Step 1: Visit the official consortium website @consoortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: Register yourself as a new user using your mobile number and email ID.
Step 3: Now, Fill in the CLAT 2023 application form by entering details such as personal information, educational qualification and communication details.
Step 4: Submit the application form by paying the fee of INR 4000.
Step 5: Take a print out of the form for all future reference.

CLAT 2023: Application Fee Details
The CLAT application fee is INR 4,000 for general/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates. For SC/ST/BPL candidates, the CLAT registration fee is INR 3.500.
Candidates will be able to submit the application fee in online mode, using net banking, credit card or debit card options. However, if any candidate opts for the previous years' question papers, they will have to pay INR 500 in addition to the application fee.
About CLAT 2023
The consortium of NLUs conducts the national-level entrance exam, CLAT, for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by 22 participating NLUs.
Candidate's admissions to the 5-year integrated Ll.B. and Ll.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2023-2024 shall be through the CLAT 2023.
The CLAT 2023 exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode, in which a total of 200 MCQ type questions will be asked in the paper and for every correct 1 mark will be awarded and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
