To contribute towards the progress of education through Research & Development, Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) collaborated with Zydus Research Centre based Pharmaceutical company Cadila Healthcare Ltd. located in Ahmedabad.
As per the signed MoU, CHARUSAT faculty members and Zydus Research Centre employees will have access to both the facilities to continue their R&D work.
The two institutes are free to have a mutual exchange of research facilities and consultancy services. The syllabus will be designed on the basis of industry requirements and multiple conferences, workshops and symposiums will be organized under the collaboration of two.

The MoU was signed in the presence of CHARUSAT President Surendrabhai Patel, Secretary Dr. MC PATEL, Vice President Kelvani Mandal and other office bearers of the University. Whereas from Zydus, President Dr. Sanjiv Kumar and General Manager Dr. Arun Singh were also present in the event.
Zydus President Dr. Sanjiv Kumar said that interdisciplinary research requires prime focus and is the need of the hour. He also added that Educational institutes need to be proactive and equipped to prepare industry-centric pedagogy and syllabus for which industrial partnership plays a pivotal role.
