What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your style?

“Being genuine and authentic”

My educational philosophy of leadership would indeed be to believe in developing a positive culture in its entirety among students, staff, and parents. Educational administrators should be capable of building relationships with every person, learn and motivate the strengths of their staff and college community members. My leadership style relies upon staying affiliative, at times, and being democratic, always.


How does the curriculum at Nirmala College of Pharmacy ensure the best practice of industry?

“Putting together the theoretical aspects with the practical”

Periodic revision and amendments are vital to guarantee curriculum alignment with industry and employer requirements. Along with that, consistent evaluation should also be done to objectively assess and verify that students have achieved the requisite competencies. Colleges who practice curriculum enrichment programs in addition to scholastic activities make the students think differently and thus they become unique, which is the expectation of Industry now a day.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to Nirmala College and the students are?

“Letting my actions speak for me”

To build a positive professional culture, it is necessary to develop a long-term plan for student academic progress and cultivate leadership in others. Implementing the plans is the most essential factor, and a lot of exercises are required. I always believe that the one who responds on time to the situation will be recognized as one point of time by the Employer.


What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Educational opportunities and strategic partnerships with experts”

Generating new ideas and transforming these innovations into practical applications could yield significant social and economic progress. We value the significance of outstanding research while highlighting the importance of excellence in education in directing the careers of our students. Universities should collaborate with various industries to cater the students towards the stakeholder’s demand.


Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Life is less what happens to us, but more how we react to it”

Being humble lets you learn from elders and adapts you to become a better person. Learn from your mistakes which take you closer to success, though you failed in the first instance. Set up your team to strengthen your success. Don’t work on what you don’t understand, yet others might make lots of money from them. Success can be achieved only through action. Govern your emotional stability. Control your emotions for most happenings not to escalate.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“Effective teaching strategies and collaborative learning environments”

Developing a positive culture among students and teachers drives the student’s learning, enthusiasm, and contribution to a greater extent. We need to consider a lot for creating a comfortable learning environment. Colleges are packed with students from different backgrounds and life experiences that make every classroom a distinctive place. Teachers should be careful in their thinking, treat all students with equal respect, and help students from deterioration. Teachers should address the issues of bias the moment they crop up, to crack down the hurdle that some students face with others in the institution. It is more successful to respond to bias, immediately than ignoring it, for establishing a healthy relation and environment.
