Later, he successfully completed Ph.D from Burdwan University. Various articles published by him in refereed Journal and reputed Law Magazines. He has Participated in many Seminars and workshops. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“ My teaching passion and happiness connects with the education sector” 

One of the primary factors connecting me with the education industry is teaching. I love to teach with my academic quality and capability. My duty is to share my knowledge with students and they attain benefit through my knowledge. It is a great success for me. Another factor is happiness and pride feeling for students after completing their LLB or LLM degree. They hold significant positions and achieved success in their professional career makes me happy. I feel proud for them and it carries a good reputation for our college.


What is your philosophy of leadership and describe your leadership style in Haldia Law College?

“Generosity, initiative, passion, positive attitude, and problem-solving abilities are my leadership styles”

A campus principal needs to process good leadership qualities. I follow the leadership style through integrity, commitment, strong communication skills, expertise, courage, discernment, focus, generosity, etc. We try to initiate passion, positive attitude, and problem-solving abilities skills for students. It is the duty and responsibilities of the campus. 


How do you strategize key programs for the marketing and administration of campus?

“Impart digital advertisement, use social media platforms and a mobile friendly website for campus”

We use Social Media Platforms to Connect with our Audience. Another plan is digital advertisements and a Mobile-Friendly Website accessed by a large number of aspirants. Faculties encourage Students to write online reviews and reinforce the culture of excellence.

“Court practices, sports fest, good library and facilities are available to pupils”

Foreign countries focus more on practical based learning and allow creativity in education. However, Indian education is a formality as a part of routine and earning a degree whether you learn something or not. Our campus contains a good library to attain resources for students. We provide significant accommodation, and Moot court practice in the Moot Court hall for pupils. They can participate in sports, debate and seminars regularly. Our students frequently deliver free legal help to many local as well as distant low income groups and socially unprivileged stakeholders. mostly from surrounding rural areas. We established the Free Legal Help Center of Haldia Law College run by students. Pupils get procedural support in getting the rights and positions of the stakeholders. We provide maximum practical learning and placements for them. An industry student interface is built by us. We encourage our students to pursue internships in various law firms under the guidance of reputed advocates. 


How could your College welcome students of different economic backgrounds?

“Government scholarships and fees concession provided to weaker students from the campus”

Our management provides 30% to 50% fees concession for weaker students each year. 70 to 80 students get benefits through these schemes. Some students are studying without paying any fees. They also access Government scholarships and other Book Bank facilities. 


What are your roles and responsibilities to Haldia Law College and students?

“Coordinating college strategic plan, depth research and quality education for students”

We produce new generation lawyers by providing quality legal education through pedagogical techniques. Students get in- depth research in the interactive dimensions of law, economics and society. My duty is to coordinate plans and implement the college's Goals. We manage fiscal affairs, college budgets and supervise pupils. 


What is the College top priority over the next 10 years?

“To attain NAAC Accreditation and introduce diploma courses in our college”

Our first priority is to attain NAAC Accreditation process for campus. We want to introduce some diploma courses in college. Our campus contains the ICSI Study Center. All these are top priorities for upcoming years. 


What is your vision for the Haldia Law College?

“To foster legal education with proper ethical values and objectives”

Our campus is situated at Haldia Municipality building that shares a few rooms and limited accommodation. Our vision is to foster legal education with proper ethical values and objectives. We create the right atmosphere for legal studies and further research. Campus earned a place in the first fifteen leading law colleges in India, which was published in the June 2008 ‘Outlook’ issue. Our Governors boards of college consists of personalities from all sections of the legal community including academicians, eminent lawyers and social workers. 


What would you like people to know about your College they may not know?

“Rank 2nd in the Top Ten Law Colleges in India, provide legal aid service to poor and underprivileged people”

One of the notable features is providing legal aid service to the poor and underprivileged people residing in the local area. We are equipped with LCD projector, aids and internet connectivity to support new-age learning. Campus provides wifi facility for students studies. Famous achievements of our college include rank 13th in Eastern Region by OUTLOOK 2008, Rank 2nd in the Top Ten Law Colleges in India by Higher Education Review, Law Colleges Special and Rank 4th by Higher Education Digest. My vision is to uphold the national prospect by providing quality legal education.


What are the biggest challenges you see for higher education and Haldia Law College?

“Creating reserve funds, and maintenance of strict Discipline for students”

One of the challenges is maintenance of strict discipline for students and non-teaching members. It ensures a healthy working environment. We groom students through academic and value education programmes. It motivates them to remain focused in their vision of achieving goals despite political, socio-economic or religious bias. Another challenge is generation of reserve funds for meeting contingent needs, resources and reserve funds for maintaining.

Any suggestions do you like to give for current youth and aspiring students?

You need to be an honest and moral person. Give respect and be sympathetic to all in the society. It is necessary to gain leadership skills and abilities through confidence. 

Set your own goals and try to achieve them. Our campus gives internet facility through Wi-Fi and fiber cables. Smart rooms with multimedia support for teaching are available to pupils.
