Being the Training and Placement Coordinator, what are your responsibilities towards the students?

"I am responsible to educate and guide them for a better future"

Being a TPC, my primary responsibility is to teach and train the students according to the university guidelines. Besides that I am responsible for conducting examinations and different kinds of events in college, collecting fees from students, and coordinating with student guardians.


How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

"By regularly communicating with them and addressing and resolving their issues on time"

In order to establish a healthy relationship with the students and fellow Faculties, I regularly interact with them through a transparent, trustworthy and respectful communication channel. In addition to this, whenever they need my support and guidance, I make sure I remain available for them and we all work as a team by following the rules and regulations defined for us by the institute.


How do you bring in a practical and industry oriented approach towards subjects?

"By conducting mock interviews and role plays to improve soft and hard communication skills of students"

For ensuring a practical and industry driven approach towards subjects and my subject being English Communication, I conduct English speaking sessions, role-plays and mock interviews on a regular basis.


Which best practices are offered by your college to students to help them gain necessary skills?

"Professional visits, special guest lectures and lots of experiments are conducted by us strengthen their knowledge"

We conduct theoretical lectures, practical classes and experiments on a regular basis to assist students gain necessary skills. Apart from this, industrial visits, special guest sessions in collaboration with industry people are arranged as and when required to educate students about exactly how people and processes work together in organizations.

How do you strategize and update the curriculum to make it befitting for the students?

"Curriculum is provided to us by the University and experts are directly involved in the process"

We follow the curriculum designed by the University to which we are affiliated to and this is actually prepared by the best minds of the University after properly analyzing the requirements and developments of the corporate sector. And to supplement students' knowledge, we regularly organize classes keeping in mind the academic needs of students. 


What are your views upon the placements and higher education of students from your institute?

"We are doing great in both the areas and many of our our students are working in reputed organizations"

Our college is offering UG courses to students and ambitious youths of our society. And many of our students opt for higher education after completing their graduation while others prefer to do full time jobs. So whatever is their interests and passion, we provide our full support to them for placement, higher education and also if they want to start something of their own. 


How do you prepare your students to deal with the outside competitive world?

"By updating students about latest happenings of the industrial and educational world"

All the faculties of our institute regularly guide and update students about the latest happenings, trends, developments and requirements of the industrial world so that they can upgrade themselves wherever possible. 


Which extracurricular activities are organized by your college to enhance the skills of students?

"Real time projects are regularly assigned to students and they are also encouraged to pursue internships"

For the purpose of preparing students for the outside world and enhancing their skills, we regularly assign real time projects to students and also encourage them to do internships so that they can implement their classroom learning in real time scenarios and build new skills as well which will be required for them while working in the outside world. 


What challenges are you facing in uplifting the education quality of your college?

"Students coming from different Educational background sometimes face issue of communication barrier"

Being a Training and Placement Coordinator and a Communication Teacher, the greatest challenge is that we have a diverse range of students having different Educational backgrounds, so the mother tongue sometimes creates a communication Barrier for us and as a result students feel fear while speaking and writing English.


When you joined the college, what was your vision for it and how are you trying to achieve the same?

"My aim was to enhance communication skills and overall personality of students"

My vision when I joined this amazing college was to train our students in English and soft skills in order to make them employable and help them to grow in their career. And amidst various constraints, I am trying my best to achieve this goal whole-heartedly.


How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practices of industry?

"Curriculum is designed after rigorous analysis of industrial demands and developments hence includes best practices"

We do rigorous analysis and research about the latest happenings, trends, requirements and standards of the corporate world while designing and updating the curriculum of our college and after that we take suggestions and inputs from industry experts and leaders about what should be modified and remain unchanged in the curriculum. And this practice also helps us to ensure that we remain compliant with University and corporate guidelines when it comes to providing best quality education to students.


How does your college enhance the faculties skills and prepare them according to the industry standards?

"Faculty members train and upskill themselves through certification courses and industry interaction sessions"

Our college regularly motivates its Faculty members to enhance their skills and upgrade themselves by undergoing various certification courses, seminars, workshops and training programs which are arranged by us from time to time.

What approaches do you bring in apart from curriculum to teach the students?

"Students are taught using audio-visual aids, organizing mock interviews and monitoring their behavior in college so that we can provide them best facilities"

For the purpose of educating students beyond books and hard-coded curriculum, I use different kinds of motivational and technical videos, encourage them to prepare presentations, organize mock interviews and regularly monitor their behavior in and outside classrooms. 


What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths and how it can be enhanced?

"Our togetherness is the biggest factor behind our college strength and resilience"

The greatest strength of our college is that we all work as a family and everyone respects each other and communicates on a regular basis. In addition to this, our highly qualified faculty members, students, staff members and leadership makes us strong and resilient.


Any valuable advice which you would like to give to the students for a prosperous career ahead?

"Keep hustling and keep upgrading your skills"

I would like to suggest to my dear students to keep working hard for their goals as there is no substitute for hard work. Teachers and mentors will always be there to guide you, nurture you with care and give wings to your dreams, but it's you at the end who need to strive with full focus to acclaim a prosperous career.
