The interactions during the discussion highlighted insights on content, advertising, and marketing strategies of various top brands. The major points during the discussion were evident that digitalization opens up unprecedented opportunities for innovation within the organization and entrepreneurs.

“Perceive convenience, flexibility as per one’s schedule, and knowledge from the best faculties of MICA were the crux to enroll for the online Digital Marketing and communication program,” said Deepa Mistry Godiawala, an online participant.

MICA embraces intersectionality that is thoroughly required for exciting future possibilities enabled through a digital platform. MICA began offering online programs way back in 2006. “With digital contributing of about 8 per cent of India’s economy and potential to grow in future, online management and online education is up for grabs. Online education is indeed a kind of ‘uberisation’ of knowledge and education. It was a sheer delight to witness so many learners turn in to receive their certificates and meet professors and their batch mates in person on campus.” said, Prof. Anita Basalingappa – Chairperson, Online Programs at MICA.

As per the Global Shaper Survey, 2017, 47.79 per cent of respondents said they would be willing to pursue specific skills in the current dynamics of the new learning. MICA’s online programs provide a platform for pursuing further education to gain expertise on specific skill sets. The combination of online sessions and on-campus component forges a connection between the institute and participants.
