Prof. Varsha Jain has over 18 years of teaching and research experience. She has produced over 100 articles, book chapters, and case study collections in international, national, and trade magazines. She contributed cases to Ivey case collections and the Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection, as well as the 15th edition of Philip Kotler's marketing management textbook and an international marketing textbook (Paul Baines, by invitation). Prof. Jain has won over 22 national and international accolades, as well as gold medals for his research and scholarship.

She believes that co-creating and disseminating new knowledge with the stakeholders, including industry, society, and academics across the globe, keeps her connected with the education sector. Her philosophy on leadership is being dynamic, transformational, mindful, people-centric, inclusive, and community-based. As a professor at MICA, she strategizes the course for PGP using understanding real-time concepts and frameworks and applies the industry across the globe. For the FPM Program, by developing new knowledge for the global community and for CCC, by developing communication for a global audience.

According to Prof Jain, MICA can make significant contributions that the students would provide across stakeholders globally and help society while addressing the key concerns. She believes that the curriculum of MICA ensures the best practice of industry by always giving live and real-time learning while facilitating the creation of new knowledge with the industry. MICA uses an inclusive approach where every individual is appreciated. The Institute believes that everyone has unique strengths and has to be nurtured effectively. On her roles and responsibilities towards the Institute and the students, she believes that it is to help the society, communities, and industries, address the issues, provide solutions and grow together with sustainable outcomes.

Based on her rich experience in the field of academia, she believes that MICA's top priority over the next ten years should be to co-create new knowledge and help and empathize with the stakeholders. It should also provide a seamless experience to the stakeholders after providing the solutions and effectively engaging with them. MICAbelieves in nurturing a person's identity based on their core strengths, dynamic, real-time, live, flexible, creative and people-centric. Its greatest strength is its cutting edge of creativity.

After being a part of the MICAn family for so long, she describes her MICAn journey, "Earlier, MICA was known for advertising in India; eventually, it expanded in different areas such as communication and business and widened its spectrum to Asia and the world."

Prof Jain's take on the biggest challenges for higher education in India will be coping up with the digital and business transformations globally. Her plans for the MICA international affairs and students include connecting them globally and understanding the international standards. Her philosophy to establish a healthy relation and environment in the Institute is simple- Understanding people, their needs, and expectation and delivering it accordingly. Prof Jain, on being asked to advise the current youth and the aspiring students, states, "Be focused, clear, what you want to achieve in life, why you want to acquire and how you would accomplish the goals, be humble, ethical and people-oriented."
