Being the Director of IIHM, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"I have given autonomy to my students and faculty to experiment with their ideas to help them grow"

As a Director of IIHM, my responsibility is to plan effective techniques to implement better teaching pedagogies for the benefit of students. Also I need to maintain sync between our students, teachers and staff members. And I believe true leadership is when you allow others to speak, give them freedom to experiment with their ideas and guide them without doubting their skills whenever they get stuck somewhere. And hence I offer an amazing work-learning culture, keep the ambiance competitive and enforce teamwork so that my team can give their best at every level.

How does the curriculum of your Institute ensure the best practices of industry?

"It is implemented by our faculties who have rich industry and academic experience"

We have an amazing team of qualified and experienced mentors who provide best knowledge and skills to students by rigorously implementing the curriculum, giving their suggestions for what new programs or training should be included in it, followed by regular experiments and personality development sessions. Also we give more emphasis on enhancing practical knowledge of students as theory alone is not sufficient to upskill themselves as per ever changing industry requirements.

How is your institute more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

"We offer fee waiver to eligible students and there is no admission fee for female candidates"

In our college we don't charge any admission fee from girls students and also provide fee concessions to those who perform exceptionally well in exams. Also the fee of our courses is affordable because our main objective is to make education accessible for all. Lastly, any kind of inequality is strictly prohibited in our college and strict provisions are there if anyone is caught doing so.

In addition, we organize seminars in our college on a regular basis to stay in touch with our industry partners and peer colleges. And to make others aware about our college activities, events and achievements, we release ads in print as well as digital media.

"We should upgrade our teaching pedagogies and bring better companies in college for placement"

In my opinion, we should work towards improving our education quality, enhancing industrial exposure for students and bringing the best training and internships for them, so that we can achieve our goal of ensuring maximum placements and overall students satisfaction. Also we are planning to establish a new campus of IIHM, and for making IIHM as the number one institute for foreign placements in upcoming years.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

"Be in present world, become responsible and don't stop experimenting due to fear of failure"

I would suggest to my students and youths of our society to live in the real world, start taking responsibilities for your life and actions. Also keep developing new skills but one at a time, set short achievable goals for yourself and give your 100% to turn them into reality.
