What keeps you connected with the education sector?

“My curious attitude to explore new things”

I am associated with the education sector because I am really passionate about teaching youths, and students and also learning various things from them. Coming to my experience with the institute, so it has been an amazing journey till now and I am hoping it will go the same way in upcoming years. It is a very disciplined organization where everyone works together for the educational development of students.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“To ensure smooth execution of classes and processes in the department”

To begin with, I need to make sure that the correct faculty is assigned to each class. Another responsibility is to maintain and update the curriculum in my department. My philosophy is that whatever is being taught to students should be valuable to them later on in life. Hence, I also organize various workshops, webinars, and field trips for them.

What extracurricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of the students?

“Personality development training and fun activities are conducted”

Our college does organize different guiding programs for students so that they can choose their field very specifically. And to improve the communication skills and overall personality of our students, we assign them tasks like dancing, drama and vocal skill courses.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the future preparedness of students?

“It is backed by direct industry exposure through corporate events and training”

The curriculum of our college is drafted and updated on regular basis by keeping in mind the government rules, guidelines and students' requirements. As part of the curriculum, we organize career guidance programs for students, to give them an overview of what is happening in the outside world and where and how much they need to upgrade themselves. Vocational skill courses and skill fitness activities such as yoga, faculty talks and games are also important components of the curriculum.

What are the approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to teach students?

“I ensure everyone’s participation while we discuss a topic”

To enforce a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects, I proffer them various kinds of training programs. Other than this, I use a few techniques like new technology, groups discussion, extempore and demo live classes to give them real-life experiences of teaching. Lastly, seminars are also conducted where they participate and get to know about industry expectations from them.

What are some of the greatest strengths of your college?

“Our faculties and staff members are our strength”

Our college's greatest strength is our highly educated faculty members and lab staff who all give a very good exposure of subjects to each and every student.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

“Acquire new skills and invest your time in good books”

For the young minds, I would like to advise them that learn new skills, but one at a time. And instead of running behind others' dreams, follow your own passion because only you know your strengths and weaknesses. Also, spend less time on social media and devote your valuable time to reading good books.
