He is an expert in planning various events, procedures, and inspires students to pursue academic or personal excellence. What is your leadership philosophy?

“Listen to the group ideas, follow a democratic leadership and exchange ideas freely”

My belief is in democratic leadership that boosts a decision making process in all members. We provide opportunity to everyone for participation, discussion and exchange ideas freely. I alway act in a fair manner and follow a transparent leadership style. It is necessary to listen to the ideas and concerns of your group. 

What are your roles and responsibilities?

“To give an intellectual environment, quality education and improve students' performance on campus”

My primary role is to provide quality education for pupils. We develop a passion for teachers and students to become lifelong learners. I also look into students' weaknesses and instruct them in an appropriate way. Our teachers integrate technology with the curriculum and give an intellectual environment. My duty is to make students attractive in learning, and facilitate performance levels. 

What challenges do you see for higher education and PPG College of Arts and Science?

“To cope up with social and technological changes on campus”

The traditional educational model moves away from society. We need to prepare an education model that raises the skills, attitude and knowledge of students. One of the challenges is to cope up with social and technological changes. It is essential to reflect self and lifelong learning for students on education models. 

What do you like people to know about your college?

Our campus contains qualified faculties for the teaching process and we cooperate with other institutions. We give career guidance with the latest industry trends for pupils. Value added education, professional clubs, and interpersonal skills are available for students. How do you guide your students to survive in a competitive scenario?

One of the necessary elements is to improve the skill sets of pupils. They should expand their skills and produce new ones. Another aspect is investing in oneself. Students can enrich their knowledge by joining a professional association. Volunteering is necessary to survive in a competitive world and maintain a professional network. 

How do you establish healthy relations with students and faculty?

“Practice constructive discipline, connectivity, develop interest and provide space for all”

We respect each other and develop the interests of each individual. Our consideration is on students and faculties with mutual trust. A constructive disciple practice in our campus and connect each other respectively.

Our syllabus is affiliated with Bharathiar University. We apply the latest trends in our syllabus and give value added courses for students. It increases the latest advancements on specific domains and skill sets of pupils. 

What are your views upon the placements and higher education for students in PPG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore?

“Provide training and career guidance for students from the first semester itself”

Our campus provides a Career Guidance cell for students to know about their interests. We give placements training from the first semester onwards. They are prepared and ready to face placement drives in the final year. 

What approaches do you bring in apart from curriculum to train the students?

Students can update current affairs through our add on courses. On the other side, we provide online courses to improve their learning experience. Conferences, workshops and internships are available for pupils for their growth.
