VIMPAT 2022 Registration is done through online mode. The selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained followed by GD & Personal Interview round. The minimum eligibility criteria for VIMCAT 2022 is Graduation in any discipline for PGD2C3, and 10+2 for certificate course.
VIMC Personality Assessment Test (VIMPAT) is the combined admission test for PGD2C3 (Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Content Creation and Communication) and the four certificate programs. The entrance exam is taken by the Vivekananda Institute of Mass Communication (VIMC). VIMPAT 2022 is a multidimensional Pen based examination, which will assess candidates in areas such as General Awareness and Language Proficiency. Candidates appearing for the test and qualifying all the rounds will have the opportunity of getting into VIMC.

VIMPAT 2022 Selection Process
VIMC New Delhi conducts the final selection process for admission in 2022. Mentioned below are the key components, steps and weightages awarded in the VIMC selection process:
Step 1: VIMC Admission Test (VIMPAT)
All candidates who have applied for VIMC Admission 2022 need to appear for the Pen based VIMPAT exam. The applicants are assessed on VIMPAT score, which consists of 2 sections: General Awareness and Language Proficiency.
Step 2: Appear in GD & PI
All the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in VIMPAT shall appear for both GD & PI at designated centre on designated dates. All those candidates who appear in GD & PI, and fulfil the following conditions will be considered for the merit list:
- Majority recommendation by all the panel members of PI.
- At least 130 or more on a 200-point scale in GD
- At least 210 or more on a 300-point scale in PI

VIMPAT 2022 Exam Pattern
VIMC Admission is done through VIMPAT comprising 500 marks in total divided into two sections. The detail about the same is mentioned below:
Section 1 (General Awareness Paper): It is an objective based exam. (MCQ based) comprises 25 questions for 100 Marks. The time duration of the exam will be an hour (60 Minutes). The paper is based on:
- Current Affairs
- Class 10 level General Studies and General Science
Section 2 (Language Proficiency): A descriptive paper to check writing skills comprises questions (choice based). The time duration of the exam will be an hour (60 Minutes). The paper is based on essays written from current affairs/culture/cinema/politics and society.
