Prof (Dr.) Ashutosh Mishra is presently serving as the Director at Kashi Institutes Of Pharmacy, Varanasi. Having about 19 years of teaching, research, and pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, he has served in many prestigious institutions as an assistant professor, principal, and director around the country. He has guided several research projects as well as Ph.D. Scholars. He has published his research papers in various national and international journals and around 12 abstracts in the International Conferences.

What are the key factors that kept you in the best positions at educational institutes?

“Constant learning and having up-skills for the current trends”

Teaching and research are my passion. Since finishing my Ph.D., I’ve been associated with the education sector. As an educator, I want to inculcate the social and moral values among the students rather than simply teaching the theories/practical aspects of the subjects. At the same time, I strive to update myself continuously with current treads.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“To collaborate with the Team and maintain democratic and persuasive policy”

My philosophy of leadership is just like a belief system. It guides me in my decision-making. It consists of various core principles namely perspective, principles, and values. When you define what they are, and use them personally to shape a leadership philosophy statement, your behaviors and decisions will remain consistent and the same philosophy of leadership is followed by me.

What can an inbound student gain from studying here in your college?

The principle of education is simply growing and evolves with time and humankind. Here in our institution we always emphasize the students to learn the practical aspects of the concerned subjects. In the current scenario, we have a great opportunity in terms of ‘New Education Policy to make our education system much more promising and definitely, we are planning and going to implement the same in future.

How do you make the Course Curriculum industry-oriented?

“Providing the students with facilities like Industrial Visits, Industrial Talks, etc”

The vision of Kashi Institute of Technology is always to give a skilled and employable pharmacy professional to society. To ensure the same we are having several activities like;

How is your college welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

“Provides Students with reservation and fellowship Opportunities”

Kashi IP welcomes students of every race or economic background. The Institution provides reservations for admission through UPSEE in the following categories like SC/ST, OBC, Female, EWS (economically weaker students), and TFW (Tuition-fee waiver). Kashi IP also awarded the fellowship for merit holder students.

What are your roles and responsibilities to the Institutions and the students are?

“To ensure the implementation of designed rules and regulations in College”

My role and responsibility towards the Institute and students are basically to provide an environment that facilitates my team members and my students an opportunity to grow, learn, and expand their horizons. I must create a compassionate team that is continuously working towards the growth of students. And lastly, I wish to create a thirst for knowledge in every student, so that they understand that knowledge acquisition is a continuous process that will be continued throughout their lifetime and will not come to an end on completion of their degrees and courses.

What are your Institution’s top priorities over the next 10 years?

“To Provide 100% Placement assistance in the college”
