Dr. R S Bhambar is the Principal at MGV’s Pharmacy College, Nashik. He is a visionary leader who believes in providing an experiential learning environment for students to grow and prosper. He emphasizes on attaining knowledge via various verticals to help students achieve their goals. Read here what he has to say in his interview.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“My leadership philosophy is authentic and ethical”

Being a Head of the unit, from my point of view, leadership should be authentic and ethical, which boosted the confidence of our employees and to impart their knowledge in the education system. Also, to encourage students to participate in overall activities in all the fields.

How does your curriculum ensure the best practice of industry?

“We make sure to provide an ambient learning environment for the students”

Apart from educational activities, we provide industrial training to our students. For this purpose, we have a well equipped, sophisticated instrumental laboratory. Also, every year we organize campus drive through our placement cell. Many of our students have joined Multinational industries abroad as well.

What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths?

“We are a well-equipped institution”

We have modern facilities for teaching our students and preparing them for the leap once they graduate. Also, our teachers play the role of guide. They make sure every student gets the utmost attention to help them sail through college life. Also, our teachers are abreast with the latest advancements of the industry, which gives them an upper hand to prepare the students accordingly. 

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Students should continuously strive towards attaining knowledge from various verticals”

I want to emphasize on exploring various verticals. For students to attain knowledge, they must explore multiple dimensions which will help them build fresh perspectives. It will help them understand how to focus and develop their niche. Also, students should be dedicated to their work, follow ethical principles.
