Late Vasantdada Polytechnic, Nagpur

What are your roles and responsibilities?

“Use my skills in the best possible way for their growth”

My basic accountability is to give the best guidance and suggestions for the development of institute, social and commercial development of faculties. And coming to students, my responsibility is to proffer them the best education for their overall development so that they develop the required skills to serve society and the nation.

How do you strategize the key programs for the marketing and administration of your school?

“Our commitment of offering best education is our best policy in this respect”

We are committed to providing the best education and knowledge to our students, and this commitment itself is the best policy of marketing that we are maintaining for the last 40 years. We have developed various administrative patterns and continuously upgraded them to provide the best to stakeholders.

How would you describe your leadership style?

“A true leader enforce the culture of crystal-clear communication”

In my opinion, a true leader is one who drives the team for the focused goals of the institute. We at Pandav Group of Institutions involve everyone in decision-making instead of imposing our decisions on them. Overall, we promote the environment of collective participation and collaboration at different levels so that everyone can put their ideas on the table and we get the best results in return.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practices of the industry?

“We follow a curriculum designed by AICTE and UGC”

As we are affiliated to RTM Nagpur University, hence we follow the curriculum set by them, and this curriculum is well designed by AICTE as well as UGC hence industrial requirements are accommodated properly.

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“To keep pace with ever-changing industry needs”

Our institute should be focusing more on keeping ourselves updated and in line with changing technologies and industrial demands as we know that something new is coming every day to surprise us and we have to be that much flexible so that we can adjust accordingly.

What would you like people to know about your institutes?

“Students' personal and professional concerns are addressed on time”

We follow the Guru Shishya Parampara as our teaching methodology because it enables every student to be connected with their faculties personally by which they can solve their day-to-day social, financial and other difficulties.

Which extra-curricular activities are conducted in college for students' benefit?

“National days celebration, cultural and sports events are organized”

As far as extra-curricular activities are concerned, we celebrate all National Days like Independence Day, Republic Day, birth anniversaries of national leaders and idols. And to make our students aware of their social responsibilities and to develop them physically and mentally, we have the NSS wing. We also conduct various cultural and sports activities which help our students to participate in the national and international competitions.

What are some of the greatest strengths of your institute?

“Our mission to give the best education to underprivileged”

The vision and mission of our group itself is our greatest strength, as it takes care of students who hail from a less strong social and economical background to make them capable to live a dignified life.

Any suggestions would you like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

“Be technically and ethically strong”

I would like to advise my students that along with strengthening your technical skills, you must learn ethical values and develop a strong mindset. Also, I would strongly recommend them to not involve themselves in any sort of unsocial activities.
