How successful have you been in implementing the vision of the institute?

“Short term courses at affordable fee structure benefits all”

When I started this Institute, I observed that many professional courses were there but everyone could not take it because of financial problems or lack of minimum education to join. So I started many short certificate courses according to their choice or need. I really get my motive and most of the students got benefits through this idea. As they can opt courses according to their choice and need it was really easy for homemakers, students, art lovers, businessmen and professionals of any field to get specialisation on particular content of art. I started professional diploma and certificate courses in fine art and craft, and it worked well. Himanshu Art Institute was successful in its aim and soon the institute came forward with the platform of good knowledge of art for each of its students.

What are the best practices offered to help students gain necessary skills?

“Providing techniques and relevant environment to learn”

The Institute helps students to get a clear vision of their aim and what they should choose to do according to their motive or interest. Our Institute always tries to give them the best techniques to make them independent, and open their creative mind through the excellent ideas and give them a friendly environment to express their imagination in their work. We provide them a good artistic atmosphere through proper technique to do work. Many outdoor and indoor classes are conducted under the supervision of senior artists to share their artistic skill. Sometimes workshops are also conducted on the particular topic by the renowned artist to understand the right way to do the work.

What do you think should be the Institutes’ top priority over the next 10 years?

“Promoting art and artists nationally”

From the very beginning, the aim of the organization has been to promote the arts and artists. This institution has been a medium to provide a platform to the artists by the best education of the arts. We are looking to design the curriculum and activities related to these and present it in such a way that the artist of all ages can take advantage of it. The priority of the institution from the very beginning is to provide a platform to the talented artists hidden in every corner of the country and to make everyone aware of different kinds of art forms.

What would you like people to know about your institute they may not know?

“Parallel running NGO to amplify opportunities”

We would like to inform everyone about the best thing about this Institute that Himanshu Art Institute also runs an NGO named Nav Shri Art & Culture Organisation. This organisation provides a platform not only to the students of Himanshu Art Institute but also to all artists and art lovers through conducting so many events on national level like exhibitions, competitions, workshops, seminars to provide and identify them as an artist.

Brief us about any new program you have introduced at the institute?

“A handful of Indian artistic course lines”

Our institution has been presenting new programs from time to time for its students. According to their convenience, short courses or sometimes certificate or diploma courses have been made. With the passage of time, changes have been made in the curriculum of the students. Change is the law of nature and therefore sometimes a new curriculum has been introduced. And in today’s time when everything is becoming digital, it is inevitable. On the other hand, people are getting interested in our Indian art. Keeping this in mind, many new courses like Madhubani Painting, Mandana, Kalamkari, Warli and Gond Art are being introduced.

Any suggestions to the students aspiring for Fine Arts and Craft?

“Do not follow the crowd, choose wisely”

Many students choose such subjects not out of their own interest and passion, but because of the uniqueness or publicity of that art. But art is such a field where it is very important to have interest in expressing our own ideas and creativity, otherwise you will complete your course but will not be able to become perfect in it, nor will you use the experience of your art. I suggest students to go with their own work of interest instead of copying others. Have trust in their own capability to do work, and set their own goals. Counseling is a very important part at the time of admission.

What do you see as the institute’s greatest strengths?

“Profound academic goals and hard working team”

From the beginning, the goal of our organization has been to move forward with innovation in work. By organizing exhibitions, competitions, seminars, workshops at the national level, the best platform has been provided to the artists from time to time. The basis of the success of any organization depends on the team working there. Good rapport between team and management then they make an equally good rapport with his students as well. In this way, the atmosphere of the institution becomes stronger and the institution progresses, so the most important strength of our organization is our team and the best curriculum.
