When you first came to the college, what was your vision for the college?

"To produce best Pharma professional and citizen for society"

I heard about this college in 2010 from my student and colleague and I visited it for the first time in 2018 to meet my junior Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh. And my vision at that time was to provide the best pharmacy professionals (having strong theoretical and practical knowledge about their respective subjects) to the society and pharma industry.

What is your Leadership Philosophy?

"A good leader knows how to convert the weakness of team members into their strength"

My philosophy of leadership is very simple and that is a good leader not only knows about the strength and weak points of his team but also knows how to convert those weaknesses into strengths and make a team equipped with the required skills. Because each person has a special and unique quality. And to identify and potentiating such skills and fixing them in suitable positions (as per skill) in projects leads to success and makes you a good team player. Lastly, a good leader is a good listener and takes sufficient reflection time to react.

What inbound a student can gain from studying here in your college?

"We provide direct industrial exposure to students through visits and summits"

In my opinion, the Indian education system should be rational with current industry requirements and practical oriented. Hence our college does organize expert talks with the support of the Industrial-Academic interface to know in more depth about current industrial happenings and development. And small and middle-level projects related to current demand are given to students to teach them about future prospects to generate revenue and develop entrepreneurship skills.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practices of the industry?

"Industrial development is regularly incorporated into the curriculum in the form of new programs"

We design and update our curriculum regularly along with changing demands of industry and students by introducing newer programs and courses. We make our students aware of the current requirements and skills needed to serve society and industry. And to ensure this, continuous interaction with industrial experts is organized.

How do you contribute to enhancing the skills of your students?

"By sharing my knowledge and past experiences with them"

I have worked as a Nutraceutical formulation and development expert and have good formulation experience. So definitely, I feel happy to share my experiences and skills with my students in creating nutraceutical business interests for them.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in the college for students of different backgrounds?

"By addressing their queries on an individual basis and resolving them on time"

I ensure a healthy relationship with my students by interacting with them on an individual basis and then by knowing their demands. And I also make sure to provide solutions to their academic or personal issues as early as possible.

What are the greatest strengths of your college?

"Dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of our highly qualified faculty"

I have newly joined this college, so won't be able to describe much. But yes, in this short span of time also, I have observed that we work positively, and everyone has good manners and professional ethics. So this enthusiasm and positivity towards the work of our team is what makes us unique and strong.

What should be the college's top priority for the next 5 years?

"To be a top college in Pharmacy domain"

We aspire to become the kind of college that should be identified by the name of their research and as an incubation centre for nutraceutical products.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

"First identify the issues and then define the path of your hard work"

In my life, I learn two things and want to share the same with students and the young minds of our society. And those two things are that I learn by writing and doing practicals. First make yourself aware of the questions, hurdles and challenges and then study and try to find a solution. Smart work is not a substitute for Hard work but when both come together, magic happens.
