With the outbreak of corona virus almost everything has come to a standstill. But with institutions like RAGC with commitment and dedication have decided to not stop learning. They have launched online campaigns to teach their students. The objective is to continue providing quality education to students through online lectures, tests and assignments which will help keep the students engaged so they are not totally out-of-touch to the academics. As per government instructions, both our campuses have been shut since 16th March 2020. RAGC started to deliver the lectures online from 17th March 2020 so that the learning of a student is not disrupted.
Faculties at RAGC have developed course content that can be shared across with students via online means and yet it is as engaging as classroom training. The video lectures include personal interaction and engagement between the learner and the teacher. Everyday, students are engaged in video lectures for a minimum of 4 hours. The video lectures are supported by online tests and assignments to understand the adaptability of every student. RAGC is ensuring that students are well engaged and familiar with this new method of learning by asking for constant feedback from the students. The feedback from students shows that more than 82% of students engaged in this learning process are satisfied with the content and the delivery method.
Kaustubh Dashrath Thakur from second year Pearson Higher National Diploma in Automobile Engineering says - "I'm very thankful to faculties of Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers who are taking initiatives to take our video lectures on Zoom application during this lockdown period. It's really very helpful for us to complete our assignments on time. Faculty are in touch with us the whole day to solve our assignment related problems. All faculties are putting messages on our WhatsApp group to inform us about timings and subjects of online lectures and send us reminders."
