What keeps you connected with the Education Sector?

“To bring the best education for students and focus on their development connects me towards the education sector”

Educators play a great role in improving the skills of students. Some of the factors connecting me with the education sector is to bring the best for students and are addressed by our discipline of Architecture.We inherit skills of communication, interpersonal, professional and academic for pupils. They also can participate in various academic, co-curricular and extra curricular programs on campus.


What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students in VES College of Architecture?

“To guide students and assist them to overcome difficulties on campus”

My primary role is to contribute to the development of the Academic & Pedagogic model on campus. We formulate various committees to address students' issues. I am able to associate with my students as a Class or Subject Incharge. Our campus creates various opportunities for students to improve their individual thought process. They can work on projects and assignments to attain a higher level of understanding. It helps to overcome their difficulties towards learning. We give attention to slow learning students and provide guidance on specific areas of development. 


Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students to face real-world challenges?

“Debates, Sports, Yoga & Meditation, and Club-Activities are provided to pupils”

Our campus gives various activities including Debates, Sports, Yoga & Meditation, and Club-Activities for students. All these programs play a vital role in addressing soft skills of the students. Our faculty members and the students practice several soft skills and contribute to the development of the individuals.


How does the curriculum of VESCOA ensure students are being prepared for the future?

“Provide software skill programs, College project & Elective programs and training for students”

Several employability opportunities are available to students after completing their graduation from our campus. They get Integrated Design approach, CPD programs, several software skill programs, College project and Elective programs from campus. We collaborate with various industry set-ups to offer soft skill development for pupils. Through training, students can achieve skills, and understand personal attributes for their success.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects as industry oriented?

“Webinars, specific programs of skill development, and industry visits are available for candidates”

We resolve the problems in a practical manner. Industry experience is an essential way to solve the problems. Our campus focuses on Industry standards, grades, procedures for tolerances, execution and maintenance. These are another set of knowledge systems we get through our faculty members. Students should attend webinars organized by Industry Professionals. Additionally, we also provide specific programs of skill development and Professional Development CPD of pupils through Industry Collaborations.


What approaches do you bring in apart from curriculum to train the students?

“CPDs, Expert Webinars, and Workshops are available for students”

We enriched an academic schedule in our syllabus to identify regular academic content. Our campus collaborates with industry, and provides CPDs, Expert Webinars, or Workshops for students. College project programs are another space exploring various opportunities to learn softwares. Students get trained in handling different building materials, various gadgets or surveys. All these aspects bring a lot of added value to the education system. 


What do you like people to know about campus that they may not know?

“Offers various resources and facilities for students from the campus”

Our inspiration is two great personalities of the country such as Swami Vivekanand Ji and Shri Hashu Advani Ji. We provide a considerable amount of Resources to pupils. Facilities offer the students a wide range of experimentation and testing in campus itself. Our studios have multiple levels of mediums to facilitate learning to students. 


What do you see as the greatest strengths of VESCOA?

“Student centric learning environment, faculties and state of the art facilities are our greatest strengths”

One of the features on campus are socially relevant approach, and state of the art facility. Campus strengths are faculties and students. We give a student centric learning environment, and spiritual grounding through training.


What are the biggest challenges you see for higher education and VESCOA specifically?

“Urban interventions and environmental degradation are major challenges we faced in education”

Some of the issues are environmental degradation and urban interventions. We try to eliminate such issues from the education sector. Our campus took steps to address the seventeen sustainable Development goals. We are working on a few and making small changes through our solutions.

“Identify your skills and achieve your dream”

I have engaged with students for more than two decades now. Most important thing that one needs to do is to find where they see their role in the development of the Nation. It is necessary to identify your skills, and go with decisions. By choosing this discipline of Architecture, you are making a choice to be able to serve people and upcoming generations. Choose wise and join hands with us to become a better mankind.
