SIHM, Siddhpur recently organized an online interactive session with notable author Mr. Chetan Bhagat and Singer Ms. Anita Bhatt. Mr. Chetan Bhagat interacted with the panelists, few of the students and faculties of SIHM saying that the Hospitality & Tourism Industry is the most affected area in COVID- 19 but need not to worry as All Is Well.As the good time doesn’t last forever the same way the bad time also doesn’t last forever. Good time is always awaited after bad time, so we understand the importance of the situation and we value it. He went on to add value by giving Five Success Tips. He emphasized on being A Positive Person, Importance of Determination is ‘Key’ and a Sharp Mind. Moreover, Good Habits Stay and how to Empower Yourself. Ms. Anita Bhatt had entertained all the participants by singing songs with her beautiful voice over the webinar. She had sung her the most favorite songs and also sang the songs on request by the participants.

The speaker was Mr. Rohit Patel, who is the Founder & Director of Symcom Corporation. He is an expert in Communication and Personality Development. This COVID-19 pandemic has presented a perfect opportunity to develop the staff. The main objective to conduct the Digital training session was to develop the existing manpower into a skilled and efficient resource and generate more such resources which would benefit the Hospitality, Travel and Tourism sector and TCGL by increasing business and generating more effective output which would create a huge impact in business. The training would be regarding Soft Skills, Body Language, Basic Etiquettes, Personality Development and Short Module Courses on Customer Services which would overall benefit the staff to boost their confidence with a developed persona in their field serving with the enhanced experience generating better output in their respective service sectors. The online training workshop highlighted on the following aspects:

• To develop more skilled and trained manpower with enhanced communication skills.
