Mr. Rahul Joshi is the Assistant Professor Law - IMI Indore. He is an LLM and LLB academically. As an academician, he firmly believes in imparting good quality education to students. Being a law practitioner, he has a hands-on experience as a civil lawyer in high court. His teaching has been honoured with numerous awards across various institutions. In addition, he is known for having innovative ideas for better classroom teaching.

Experience in the education industry

Teaching and learning both are good for enhancing my knowledge and delivering effective lectures are helpful for students to understand a specific topic in detail. Better Education gives better opportunities in the Educational Industry. My own Experience is that extracurricular activities with classroom teaching are very much required in present time.

Leadership philosophy

My Leadership philosophy is to create an atmosphere of learning for students and teacher by making oneself disciplined to work. If something is right for the institution and students, then we should do it with passion and dedication.

Challenges faced

I am very lucky to have a supportive staff and management in college, so I don't think that there are challenges to be faced by me in IMI.

An updated curriculum

The curriculum of IMI is good and updated as per present requirements of the industry. Practical workshops, minor projects, internships, etc. of college helps students to get knowledge about working in the industry.

Skills required to be effective in the corporate sector

The industry needs fresh students with a sharp mind and knowledge. It means in the corporate sector, individual competency is given more priority than quantitative efforts. Practical knowledge is important for any subject.

Goals to achieve

My goal for the institute is directly associated with the students of the Institute. I wish to see my Institute attaching a brand name for itself with the students where they would be known and recognized for being the student of IMI, not only in the city but even outside. I also wish that students of my Institute not only receive a degree, but give their best in class education, practical training, knowledge and expertise in their respective subjects.

Advice to the youth

I would like to advice to the current youth and the aspiring students that no matter what they are doing in life, their aim should be in their mind always and all their efforts should collectively strive towards achieving it.
