Dr. Ghazala is the Chairperson of Synetic Business School, Ludhiana. She completed her Bachelor in Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. Dr. Ghazala got a fellowship in Dietetics and Nutrition from Apollo Medvarsity, Hyderabad, India in 2012 and a Certificate course in Panchkarma from DAV Ayurveda College, Jalandhar. Currently, she serves as Chairperson of Zayn Trust, a non-profit Trust/Society registered in the year 2004. It is recognized by NITI AYOG as an accredited NGO and manages two education institutes for vocational and technical training. She has close to 20 years of experience in various capacities as Head of a Non-Profit, Alternative Medicine Physician, and Medical Coordinator in India and the Middle East such as Abahassan Specialized Medical Center, Riyadh, KSA as SPA Therapies Coordinator/Consultant in 2010, Hathaway Medical Center Olaya, Riyadh, KSA as Visiting Consultant in Alternative Medicine in 2006, King Fahad Hospital, National Guards Health Affairs (NGHA), Riyadh, KSA as Medical Coding Officer in Business Center in 2005, etc. She is a member of the National Integrated Medical Association, Ludhiana Management Association and Registered Medical Practitioner in AYUSH Council. Her area of expertise is Alternative Medicine that includes Ayurveda, Panchkarma, and above all Unani system of treatment using medicines, drugs or various therapies for ailment cures. She has spearheaded in organizing over 500 free medical camps and various workshops on female hygiene and empowerment; social and environmental issues at schools, colleges, gurudwaras, and community health centers around Ludhiana city.
You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
“Capacity to make the right decision and update of technology connects me with the education sector”
I am working as Director cum Principal at ISF College of Pharmacy a few years back in a key position in this organization. It is always very challenging and need consistency to maintain the position throughout my career. I found that person must be self-start and have the capability to take the right decision at the right time for the benefit of an organization along with the staff and students. Another thing is to tune with time, temperament and technology for betterment or updating of the system.
Being the Chairman, what is your philosophy of leadership and describe your leadership style?
“Being disciplined and maintaining strong behavior is the power of a leader”
Leader is one who has the capability to accept all challenges and sometimes compromise with family. All types of minds you require are to manage in a day. My simple principle of work is that a person must be workaholic, disciplined and strongly believe in his strength. No need to worry about any challenge, work on principle and maintain strong character or soft behavior.

“Courses including D. Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm is provided to pupils”
Our campus is running all pharmacy programs D. Pharm., B. Pharm, M.Pharm in nine branches such as Pharm.D., Pharm.D. PB, B. Pharm. (Practice) and Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. All programs are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and other professional bodies also. Distribution of seats as per the Pharmacy Council of India in all programs.
Being the President of campus, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing or administration?
“Mouth publicity and teaching quality helps in admission and placement on campus”
Our college is NAAC accredited “A” grade college and also recognized by UGC under section 2. In NIRF 2022, we achieved rank 29 th in India and in ARIA ranked excellent bank by Govt. of India in college category. Mouth publicity and quality of teaching learning process helps in admission and placement of campus. Number of good wishers like you associate this college always helps for betterment of college strength. We believe in quality, and Quality.
The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying in Synetic Business School?
“Several facilities and digitalization in technology are gained by students from campus”
Comparing pharmacy education with abroad or any program in my opinion is not justified. Because every country has their own needs, facilities and requirements. We need to work in upward direction and update continuously in technology and digitalization. I work dedicatedly in the benefit of society and our country.
Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?
“Invite all students into campus without any gender variance for pupils”
In my college, 22 states are studying in different programs. I hope that they are taking admission in different disciplines of Pharmacy. Because a world class facility and qualified faculty is working in our campus.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities are to Synetic Business School and students?

My sole responsibility is for official responsibility and students. It is the moral duty of the director to work for the college. We need to grow the college in all terms like quality, quantity and new programs.
What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?
“To increase more programs, post graduate certificate courses, and other courses are our top priority”
Top priority of college is to work for NEP2020. Need to increase more program, post graduate certificate courses, certificate courses, and other diploma courses. We need to work on developing an excellent cluster of colleges within a short period of time.
When you first came to campus, what was your vision for the Synetic Business School?
“To establish a good research center and training for faculties is my vision”
No doubt after joining, the first thought is to maintain the status of college and work for accreditation. Our campus main vision is to establish a good research center, innovation cell and training of the faculty as per the mark for better teaching and learning process.
What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?
“Provide good education quality, research and discipline on campus”
Our campus is well known for quality of education, research and discipline. This is our moral duty to maintain decorum throughout life. No space for any nuisance or lethargy and unorganized person.
What do you see as the greatest strengths of Synetic Business School?
“Faculty and students are our greatest strengths on campus”
Our college strength is the faculty, facility and students. One of the vision of management is to work only for quality and try to improve all sections in terms of quality. Our research team is working excellent in publication, patentability, copyright, books and book chapter publications.
What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general and University specifically?
“Geographical location of college and mentality of students are greatest challenges”
Many challenges in higher education are faced nowadays. One of the challenges is the geographical location of college, mentality of students and parents to move toward big cities. Another one is compromise with quality.
Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?
“Take admission in your interested profession and achieve a dream job”
Being a senior and responsible person, my suggestion to all students before taking admission in your interested profession. You are required to check availability of faculty, their qualification, contribution, approvals, and recognition of institutes at national level such as NIRF, ARIIA, AICTE-CII etc. We are ranking the last three years with facility, placement, vision and mission of management etc.
What are some plans that you’re designing for colleges, international affairs and students?
“Decide to establish research labs like a neurological lab, zebrafish lab, polymer lab, and Nanotechnology for pupils”
We are planning to establish more super specialized research labs like neurological lab, zebrafish lab, polymer lab, and Nanotechnology. Other ones are GLP laboratory, cell line, etc.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in Synetic Business School?

For betterment of education and research, it needs to establish a healthy working environment in the college. No remedies or thumb rules for this. Any new courses you are planning to launch in this coming academic year?
“Invention of new degree courses for students are the main plans in the upcoming year”
Under the autonomous status, we decide to launch 12 certificate course in this year equivalent to 2 credits. It is helpful in the degree program for job opportunities and future prospects of pupils.
