Prof. Kunal Dindorkar is Head of Department at Vishisht School of Management (VSOM). He is Post Graduate in Foreign Trade from the School of Commerce DAVV Indore and He has more than five years of experience in teaching. He started his teaching career with St. Peter School as a teacher & Administrator. He is an Assistant Professor of Management and teaches subjects like EXIM Policy and Documentation, International Business, WTO, EXIM Finance, English, and more. He likes teaching with the help of case studies & practical examples from the corporate world. He is Faculty I/C of Sports and Placement.

The Indian education system is structured differently from foreign countries’ education systems because India is a land of firm Guru-Shishya Parampara in which students are imagined as the seeds of future prosperous trees. Faculties are the lifeblood of any educational Institute and each faculty plays a vital role in the students’ life. In Vishisht faculty works not only to educate students but also to groom the students in all respects.

Vishisht faculties play a dynamic role and have many responsibilities- 

  • In the teaching part, I take care of foreign trade subjects. Vishshit offers many courses under which BBA foreign trade is one of them. BBA FT prepares students for foreign trade management, documentation, EXIM policy, international marketing, foreign languages, and EXIM finance, and so on, with practical knowledge of the industry, port, and customs.
  • Vishsiht always seeks Job opportunities for students in which campus recruitments, job fairs, interview preparation are time to time conducted for students’ prosperous future. Till now we have around 20 to 30 companies’ tie-ups in which Amazon, Calvin Klein, Colgate, Royal Enfield, AU finance, and Byju’s Learning App, and many more are there.
  • Vishshit is known for its discipline. All the faculty, as well as the students, always show a good example of being in a manner. Any kind of misconduct and ragging etc are unacceptable in college. Students’ safety is not compromised against anything in Vishisht College. Woman cells, Discipline committee, and grievance handling cells are made to make discipline as well as pleasant atmosphere in college.

What are some of the biggest challenges for Vishisht School of Management specifically?

“To deal with the Pandemic Period is the biggest challenge for the Institute”

The biggest challenge for Vishshit is the changing education sector, which makes it a tough task for the institute to pay its responsibilities and fulfill its promises. 

In this pandemic situation, it is quite tough to do normal teaching and learning, like going completely on online mode was a challenge for faculties and for students as well. Lockdown 1.0 and lockdown 2.0 were completely destructive for the educational sector.

Vishshit believes in making challenges into opportunities, we not only continued teaching on online mode, but also we organized many events like online youth fest E-Ensemble, Faculty hunt, certification programs, and many more.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

The current era is unpredictable and the unforeseen future generates more challenges for the youth. Pandemic, fluctuating educational policies, national and international competitions, etc building new unstable grounds to play. Vishisht suggests that to aspiring students and youth that they should be all-rounder. On any ground, you should be more promising, determined, and efficient. Today’s youth should possess all the qualities and qualifications which corporate demands, they should know the current waves of the environment.
