What would you like people to know about your Institute that makes it different from others?
"Our accessibility is not a problem nowadays and we offer finest quality and job oriented education"
Our college is located in Barrackpore which is a remote area, so people often misunderstand that campus is unreachable to them. However, I would like to tell them that this is not the case now and the accessibility problem was there 5 years back, but now we are directly connected from the University side and if somebody wants to get to our campus, we are just a walking distance away from the West Bengal State University. If I talk about the curriculum in our college, our team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members is well aware of what they are doing and what are the industrial expectations from students and management has done really well to offer finest quality and employment-oriented education to students. Last but not the least, in addition to regular courses, we are offering various value-based programs in the discipline of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

And whatever customized technical and Communication training programs they require we arrange that for them. In addition to this, we provide them coaching for competitive exams like GATE and CAT.
How does the curriculum of your Institute ensure the best practices of Industry?
"It comprises of latest courses and training programs for students in accordance with needs of industries"
We design and update the curriculum of our college after rigorously analyzing the latest trends, technologies, development and requirements of industries so that our courses remain compliant with their standards. And to supplement students' knowledge, we are also planning to organize a wide variety of webinars, hands-on training sessions and workshops in collaboration with regional brands like Mukesh Hyundai. As with the introduction of industry 4.0, it is very important for students to know what are the requirements of industries nowadays. This is because nowadays, industries are not willing to train graduates and they want full-fledged professionals who can directly do their day-to-day work without much training.
What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general?
"Students are lacking vision of why exactly they want to pursue a particular course and it's a big issue for institutes they are studying in"
The biggest challenge in front of higher education institutions nowadays is that students lack knowledge of fundamental concepts and most of them join colleges without a vision like why exactly they want to do M. Tech and MBA like courses in the first place. It's naturally expected from today's youths that they should have practically possible goals and they should not waste precious years of their life in exploring random things which don't suit their interests and passions. Because, otherwise students can get misled and end up doing something that might not be suitable at all for them. So, mentoring students and channelizing their energy and focusing in the right direction is a real challenge for institutions.

What is your philosophy of leadership?
"I believe in leading by example and a true leader is the one who actually supports his/her team"
I like to lead by example because it gives me the perfect opportunity to do best for students and provide them with facilities they need the most. And I also believe in the fact that only making unrealistic promises doesn't help anyone until and unless you give your 100% to it and deliver results, and for the same reason I did my education very systematically depending upon how I needed to mould my career and designation.
