He did B.E, and M.E degrees from Madurai Kamaraj University, India and completed a Ph.D. degree from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. His interest areas are in VLSI, Image processing and ANN. What is your philosophy of leadership in Lourdes Mount College of Engineering and Technology?

“To motivate students and staff through transformational leadership on campus”

One of my leadership thoughts is to motivate and inspire the team members to improve productivity. Another one is to impart a sense of leadership through transformational leadership for students and staff. It is essential to motivate and inspire them from my side to lead an activity.

An inbound student will get various opportunities from campus. They can show their talent in both personal and academic areas. Every pupil is unique in their own way. We guide students to achieve good qualities and knowledge inside campus.

What are your responsibilities to University and students?

“To update teaching methods, provide proper activities, coordination and examinations on campus”

One of my responsibilities is to coordinate activities, examinations, and proper documentation. Another role is to revise procedures and policies on campus to improve student's achievements. We regularly update teaching methods as per industry standards. 


What is the top priority of Lourdes Mount College of Engineering and Technology for the next 10 years?

“To impart international curriculum and provide environmental awareness on campus”

One of the top priorities is to uplift education standards in a global way by implementing an international curriculum. We make an educated move in every step and cultivate an entrepreneurial approach among students. Another need for pupils is self-learning and Environmental awareness on campus. Our campus also decided to update the importance of environmental News in the competitive world.

One of the challenges faced by campus is to increase quality standards for pupils. We help students and decide to keep the institution as per expectations. Our campus adapted new teaching methods during covid pandemic.

“Improve general knowledge and make use of time in a productive manner to improve your skills”

Students need to develop greater skills to apply knowledge and skills to daily activities. Competition is high in the present environment and they can make use of time in a productive manner. Pupils should improve their general knowledge by watching the news and understanding the country.
