Ms Jayanti is the Vice-Principal of Little Flower Degree College, Hyderabad. She holds a Ph.D. in psychology and has 16 years of work experience as an academician and researcher. She believes in preparing the youth for life by promoting intellectual excellence, uprightness of character, and emotional maturity.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“The ability to mould the youth into dedicated professionals”

The first and foremost reason is my passion and love for teaching. I have been in the education sector for 20+ years now and I have taught more than 5000+ students. The amount of influence and change you can bring to people kept me hooked on the education sector. 


What is your philosophy of leadership? 

“To build a sound structure with teamwork and dedication”

Leadership is a transformation tool. I always strived to transform the existing method, structure, mindset of the people, and mostly being accessible to all. Also, leadership is about teamwork where the thoughts of everyone can be taken into consideration. Hence, I practice it as my leadership style.


How do you plan the marketing and administration of your school?

“Digital tools are implemented and a positive word of mouth is relied upon”

In terms of marketing activities, we maintain our digital pages internally with help of a dedicated team. Apart from that, we rely on print advertising, and mostly referral networks and word of mouth to enable admissions.

How does the curriculum ensure the best practice of the industry?

“A practically-oriented syllabus to fit the modern industrial needs”

The curriculum has been updated in such a fashion that it is relatable to the current market trends. We have created a curriculum that makes them job-ready. The aim is to inculcate industrial readiness rather than bookish knowledge with no practical thinking


What do you think your responsibilities to the Institute and the students are?

“Ensuring smooth functioning and a healthy learning environment”

I have the foremost responsibility to ensure the safety and hygiene of the campus be it in the outlook of the campus, the image of the campus in the public or maintenance. 

I have always been a facilitator to both the students and faculty. Create a learning atmosphere and make an impact on their career.
