What is your philosophy of leadership?

A strong belief in consensus and a participative approach in professional environments”

Being a leader I believe in Transformational Leadership which is the need of a contemporary dynamic environment. I often execute the changes in tandem with the team.

How do you strategize the marketing and administration of your school?

“A strong digital presence amongst the students and creating awareness for a wide reach”

  • Preparing a Comprehensive Academic Calendar including scholastic, and extra-scholastic activities to achieve holistic development is essential.
  • Delegation of tasks and allocation of resources for the ease of execution to ensure smooth functioning of the system.
  • To create the brand name of the Institute and maintain it, SIMCA keeps itself very active and visible digitally through various social media.

What is your opinion on the New Education Policy 2020 and its benefit to the students?

NEP aims to raise the overall standard of education, provide flexibility and create employable graduates”

The best feature of the New Education Policy is to help students to develop scientific temper from a young age. The NEP aims to make it easier to set up new quality of higher educational institutes that will be at par with the competitive global standards. The NEP 2020 suggests an array of reforms to school education, with a focus on flexibility of subjects and eliminating silos between streams of learning. Education leads to employment and a new education policy ought to create more employable individuals.

Skill-based and research-oriented teaching methodologies must be brought into practice. So far it’s a distant dream. To develop students from rural backgrounds, and making them Industry ready is also a challenge. However, SIMCA has been overcoming the same since 2004 and producing brighter students every year.
