“Making the students ready for industrial life”
Ours is a pioneering institution with a distinct philosophy of education that prepares young minds to become future leaders in different occupations. My overall focus has been that our students are equipped with desired conceptual, technical, design, and human skills. They need to be equipped in order to analyze, diagnose comprehend, and solve problems by adding the much-needed value proposition. With this vision, I regularly and repeatedly ensure that our due emphasis is laid on developing a holistic personality with strong values. The system and processes of education at MPSTME Shirpur Campus gives due importance to a multifaceted approach towards Technology Management that emphasizes on providing a focus on efficiency, dynamism, and striving for excellence. Overall, I am happy to see that having implemented all this at MPSTME Shirpur Campus.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?
“Self-development through interaction with the members associated”
We have a Mentor-Mentee system in our school, which helps in interacting with students on regular basis. All the class representatives (CRs) are called for sharing feedback on the teaching-learning process, and to know about their issues that can be related to teaching as well as personal. This helps in developing a sense of bonding with the students. A friendly way of communication with junior peers develops a free environment. In this environment issues, ideas, knowledge sharing goes to a level generating constructive and healthy work culture.

We make sure to motivate the students to be a part of professional bodies such as ASME, IEEE, CSI, etc. Students are encouraged to contribute to societal development through forums like 'Each One Save One’. Different Student’s Forum Such as TEDx, NMMUM, etc. where students lead as head and gain skills.

“Giving the students a chance to be mentored by the professionals themselves”
We always practice an ethical work culture. Students are made aware of best practices undertaken at industries through compulsory internship programs every semester. They guide and interact with the students and make them aware of the industrial know-how.

“Presenting them with an environment to prosper”
We, at SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering, Shirpur have world-class infrastructure and amenities open for all students and faculty members. What valuable advice would you like to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?
“Align your thoughts and actions with your goals”
Students should focus more on the technical aspects of engineering for better placements. Equal importance should be given to physical fitness, sports, daily meditation, developing at least one hobby. Follow healthy lifestyle methods, and refrain yourself from habits that may land a student into trouble.
