Dr. Sikarwar has an experience of 40 years in the education industry, with 19 years in Administration. He did his Ph.D. and supervises as well as evaluating more than 16 PhD Students. He had awarded 6 times in Different Field. He had published 8 books and he delivered more than 30 guest lectures in several universities and colleges on the same. Currently, he is serving as the Group Director of Vaishnavi Group of Institutes.

In an interview with Rishabh, Dr.Sikarwar shared his experience in the industry, enlightens us with his institutes information and shares a special message for aspiring students. 

Education has the power to change ones’ perception about everything

When we talk about the education industry, what is the one thing that strikes in your mind? It sure is the word ‘Future’, the future of the world, country, state and self. It’s been more than 40 years, and I have seen drastic changes happening within a flick of seconds. I have witnessed how education modifies a person’s personality. 

While serving in this industry, my attitude has changed a lot. Now, I believe that with knowledge comes the ability to be patient at the time of need. As the Director, I always look forward to establish an institute which produces future leaders. Whenever I look at my students excelling in their career, I feel content and proud. The feeling of content is what makes the industry the best place to work.

Leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders

As a leader, one does not boss around but guides the people to do their best. I thoroughly believe that one must have a strong relation with all stakeholders. Understanding the strength and weaknesses of your faculty and then assigning the work gives better inputs.

Talking about my leadership style, it is a Democratic one. I make sure to involve every concerned person at the time of decision making. New ideas and feedbacks are always welcomed. The freedom to speech is what makes future leaders and I strictly believe, “Leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders.''

The main hope of a nation lies in the proper education of its youth

For me, an ideal environment is where the students and teachers are in harmony and respect each other. A teacher must be well learned and caring, whereas, a student must be adaptable and disciplined. All of this, helps in measuring and evaluating the performance of the institution.

The goals and aims for the next few years are clearly set, now all that needs to be done is to work on the implementation. I aim to improve the global ranking of the institute by providing training for better teaching and research skills. We aim to develop multiple intelligences and promote creativity in the members of the academic community.

Focus on your abilities, work on your inabilities, success will be on your door

The advice that I would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students is, "try to focus not only on the theoretical part but also learn the practical way of doing things. Through this, you will enhance your skills and capabilities, which will help you attain a good position in society and success will not be far. You will have to work and move forward per the industry today."
