HITS

Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Verghese, Chancellor, HITS, in her address reminiscences the Founder-Chairman, Late Dr. K.C.G. Verghese’s saying, “To Make Everyman a Success and No Man a Failure” aptly fits this Convocation day in its special way as it bestows graduation degrees and acknowledges one’s years of hard work and commitment shown by the graduands in academics. She felt extremely happy to note the overall accomplishments of students from the Annual Report read by Dr. K.P. Isaac, Vice Chancellor, HITS. She identified tremendous improvement in all domains of the institution as an absolute indication of the commitment shown by the faculty and students. Further, she voiced that all successful people were once mere dreamers who imagined what their future could be ideal in every aspect and have toiled each day towards that distant vision or goal. “Education does not stop with mere graduation; rather it should teach a lifetime lesson” here, I wish my beloved graduands to dream what their future could be and relentlessly strive towards it, concluded the Chancellor.
