And I am accountable to support them as and when required.
How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?
"By giving them the ambiance of good knowledge, trust and open communication"
I believe trust is an important factor to have a cordial relationship between faculty and students. By mentoring students in the right way, solving their problems and going the extra miles by adding additional knowledge and skills are some of the additional practices we use in our college. Apart from teaching, our faculty members also collaborate with students for research activities. Lastly, we make sure that students feel connected and comfortable while connecting with their respective faculty.
How do you introduce a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects?
"We offer real-life projects, expert sessions and training programs to enforce the above approach"
We assign real-life situational projects to our students to give them an idea of what should be their approach to solving problems in the corporate world. During classes, we encourage them to find solutions to industry-specific topics via classroom projects. And to enrich their learning ambiance, we invite industry experts to share their knowledge and experience with us. Also, University has distinct industry immersion programs for students such as project-based learning from 1st year, and industry internships through Practice Schools (PS-I and PS-II). Such internships provide students with an opportunity to grow professionally, identify their personal strengths and weaknesses, apply learned theory to practical situations, and gain an appreciation of the roles, duties and responsibilities pertaining to the work that the students have chosen as their career.
How do you strategize and update the curriculum to make it befitting for the students?
"We design it by focusing on industry, students and society requirements"
