There are nearly 150 delegates who have registered and are participating in the workshop. They are being exposed to exciting science and innovative talks about two most powerful techniques in the analytical laboratory.

Addressing the participants, Director of Research, Shoolini University, Dr. Saurabh Kulsherstha said that the workshop would be of great benefit to the scientific community. The overall goal of the training programme can lead to a multitude of careers in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, life science, food science and biotechnology, Dr. Gupta added.

On the first day, the Assistant Professor at School of Chemistry, Dr. Joydeep Das, introduced the audience to chromatographic techniques in chemical analysis. With this, a talk cum interactive session by Dr. Neeraj Gupta was conducted on importance of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) in identification of molecules
